May Star Students
Libby Elementary would like to recognize September’s Star Students! The students were chosen using the following criteria: attitude (the student tries to contribute to a positive atmosphere), accomplishments (the student is dedicated to achieving a personal goal), commitment (the student always tries his or her best to succeed), character (the student always presents himself/herself as a positive role model), effort (the student shares in the responsibility for making school a positive place), enthusiasm (the student is always supportive of others striving for success) and excellence (the student accepts no less).
May Star students include:
Geovani Chevelle Barrera, who is a second-grader and the son of Jennifer Lynn Barrera and Marcos Adrian Barrera. Geovani’s favorite school subject is math. He loves to ride his bike, play board games with his family, read Dog Man books, and play with his Nintendo Lite.
Dally Cassell, who is a second-grader and the daughter of Clint and Savannah Cassell. Dally’s favorite school subject is math. She enjoys doing gymnastics and cheer at Legacy Athletics.
Lexi Hernandez, who is a second-grader and the daughter of Natalia Gutierrez and Blake Hernandez. Lexi’s favorite school subject is math. She enjoys playing outside with her sisters and skating.
Braxton Jones, who is a second-grader and the son of Tiffany Jones and Joel McIlwain. Braxton's favorite school subject is math. He enjoys playing soccer and basketball, running, and bike riding.
Aubrey Manning, who is a second-grader and the daughter of Dorecia Castleberry and Adious Manning, Jr. Aubrey's favorite school subject is math. She enjoys doing gymnastics, cheer, and playing softball.
Canon Dixon, who is a third-grader and the son of Zeke and Robin Dixon. Canon’s favorite school subject is math. He enjoys playing football, baseball, basketball, and dodgeball. He also likes to play outside and play video games.
Andrew Dominguez, who is a third-grader and the son of Rigo and Nancy Dominguez. He enjoys playing on the Nintendo Switch, reading books, playing Minecraft, and playing outside.
Zai’Keiyah Hinson, who is a third-grader and the daughter of Jessica Matlock and Marchello Smith. Zai’Keiyah’s favorite school subjects are math and reading. She enjoys playing basketball and softball, running, riding her bike, and playing outside.
Callie Rae Hough, who is a third-grader and the daughter of Summer and Adam Hough. Callie Rae’s favorite school subject is science. She enjoys taking care of her dog, Belle, and spending time with her friends and family.
Eduardo Olmedo, who is a third-grader and the son of Alma D. Olmedo. Eduardo’s favorite school subjects are reading and math. He enjoys playing football, soccer, basketball, and baseball. He also likes art, coloring and drawing, and comics.
