April Star Students
Libby Elementary would like to recognize September’s Star Students! The students were chosen using the following criteria: attitude (the student tries to contribute to a positive atmosphere), accomplishments (the student is dedicated to achieving a personal goal), commitment (the student always tries his or her best to succeed), character (the student always presents himself/herself as a positive role model), effort (the student shares in the responsibility for making school a positive place), enthusiasm (the student is always supportive of others striving for success) and excellence (the student accepts no less).
April Star students include:
Paisley Byrd, who is a second-grader and the daughter of Christy Cox and Jim Cox and Preston Byrd and Lindsey Byrd. Paisley’s favorite school subject is reading. She loves gymnastics, painting, and singing.
Josiah Hill, who is a second-grader and the son of Lakeicha Hill and Alvarez Hill. Josiah’s favorite school subject is math. He enjoys playing basketball, skating, playing video games, reading, and dancing.
Bladimir Lopez, who is a second-grader and the son of Azucena Najera and Miguel Lopez. Bladimir’s favorite school subjects are reading, math, and recess. He enjoys playing soccer.
Kylie Mihlhauser, who is a second-grader and the daughter of Jonathan and Shea Mihlhauser. Kylie's favorite school subject is math. She enjoys tumble, helping with cooking and baking, and jumping on the trampoline.
Micaela Nealy, who is a second-grader and the daughter of Megan and Chris Nealy. Micaela's favorite school subjects are math and science. She enjoys playing softball, reading Dog Man books, and riding her four-wheeler.
Coral Beam, who is a third-grader and the daughter of Michelle and Robert Felgate. Coral’s favorite school subject is math. She enjoys drawing, playing with her five siblings, and participating in American Heritage Girls.
Anjelica Castillo, who is a third-grader and the daughter of Paula Castillo. Anjelica’s favorite school subject is P. E. She enjoys playing soccer, sleeping, playing outside, traveling, and spending time with her family.
Korvyn Courtney, who is a third-grader and the son of Cody and Melanie Courtney. Korvyn does not have a favorite school subject because he loves all of them! Korvyn enjoys playing all sports! He also likes playing dodgeball, swimming, biking, hiking, and visiting museums and zoos. Korvyn loves to play, explore, and learn about any and all living creatures!
Kensley Dickerson, who is a third-grader and the daughter of Chris and Krista Dickerson. Kensley’s favorite school subject is math. She enjoys going to church and playing softball.
Emma Stapleton, who is a third-grader and the daughter of Greg and Tiffany Stapleton. Emma’s favorite school subject is music. She enjoys playing softball, drawing, and singing.
