Seven Carthage students competed in the Hallsville UIL Speech Tournament on October 24, 2020.  Congratulations to the following students who placed at the tournament. Persuasive Speaking:  5th Place - William Jackson. Informative Speaking:  3rd Place - Maria Piedra, 5th Place - Abigail Wilkerson, and 6th Place - Emily Hernandez. Cross-Examination (CX) Debate:  4th Place - William Jackson and Maria Piedra. William Jackson was also awarded as Top Speaker in CX Debate.
