Tonight, at the November meeting of the CISD Board of Trustees, school board members recognized our Battlin' Bulldog Band for their superb bronze finish at the UIL 4A State Military Marching Contest. Congratulations, and thank you to the band for making Carthage proud! š„ššµš¶ GO DAWGS!


Carthage ISD will dismiss students early on Friday, Nov. 18 to allow buses to run regular routes before traveling to the football playoff game in Texarkana.
Lunch will be served prior to dismissal and buses will begin afternoon routes at 1 p.m. GO DAWGS! š¾š

Today, Carthage High School hosted a wonderful Veterans Day program to honor the Veterans in our community, and the Carthage ISD faculty and staff who are Veterans. CHS students with plans to serve our country in the United States Armed Forces after graduation were recognized as well.
Special thanks to Bill Morris, Panola County Veterans Service Officer, for delivering a great message to all who attended.

Last night at the Carthage ISD school board meeting, four CHS students were celebrated for their national recognition by the College Board. Kaylee Best (not pictured), Daniel Brown, Todd Register and Zane Schumacher were awarded the National Rural and Small Town Award earlier this month, and we are so proud of their hard work and academic accomplishments! #BulldogPride ššš¾
