Carthage ISD will host a student vaccine clinic on Feb. 16 and will offer the required vaccines for students entering seventh grade and seniors going to college.
The clinics will be held at Baker-Koonce Intermediate at 8:30 a.m. and Carthage High School at 11 a.m. Students who are signed up to receive vaccines will be called out of class to receive their vaccines.
The MCV4 (meningitis) and Tdap (tetanus booster) are required vaccines to enroll in seventh grade, and HPV is optional.
The MCV4 (meningitis) vaccine is required to attend college and the MenB (two shot series for a fifth strain of meningitis) vaccine is optional.

Insurance information will be verified prior to the clinic date. If you plan to pay out of pocket, simply enter "N/A" in all insurance blanks.
Cost for cash-pay vaccines is:
18 years old and younger- $10 per vaccine
19 years old and older - Self-pay adult prices
For anyone 18 years of age or older, you will need to complete an ImmTrac2 Form and bring it with you when you receive your vaccine.
