It is Teacher Appreciation Week and we would like to honor CISD Teachers past and present by asking the community to share your stories!
“In 2019 my son broke both of his femur bones and had to be placed in the homebound program. Mrs. Koch, who was his teacher at the time, immediately volunteered to come to our home after school to teach him. She came to the hospital to see him, brought him supplies and even let me bring him to the classroom on his birthday! That made his day, mine, and theirs! Even though he was out of school for half of the school year, she included him in everything! I truly appreciate everything she did for my son. Mrs. Koch is a wonderful kindergarten teacher and your child would be lucky to have her!”
