We hope everyone in CISD had a joyous, restful and memorable Christmas break. As we return to school, we would kindly ask that you please remember the following:
If you have tested positive for COVID-19 within the last ten days OR have been in close contact with a confirmed COVID-19 individual, please DO NOT return to school. Please first contact Dr. Porter at dporter@carthageisd.org or Amanda Deason at adeason@carthageisd.org. We will then let you know you your return date.
Please continue to monitor yourself for symptoms and DO NOT come to school if you have any of the following:
- Feeling feverish or have a temperature of 100.00 degrees or higher
- Loss of taste or smell
- Coughing
- Difficulty breathing/shortness of breath
- Nausea or vomitting
- Diarrhea
- Significant muscle pain or ache
- Congestion or runny nose
- Sore throat
- Headache
- Fatigue
- Chills
- Shaking or exaggerated shivering
All staff and students should continue to prescreen each day before coming to school and remain off campus if they are experiencing any of the symptoms listed above.
